Bodystockings

A bodystocking is a one-piece garment that covers your entire body from neck or shoulders to toes. Unlike regular tights or a bodysuit, a bodystocking encompasses the full upper body and legs in one piece.

Bodystockings are made from stretchy materials such as fishnet, lace, or mesh and come in various patterns, from fine net textures to bold open-weave designs.

There are several ways to wear a bodystocking:

• On its own, as lingerie for an intimate moment
• Under clothing, beneath a dress or skirt for a subtle effect
• Over lingerie, combine with a bra or string underneath for extra support

Put on a bodystocking like tights: roll up from the feet, do not pull. This prevents tears in the material.

Most bodystockings are one-size and fit sizes S through L thanks to the stretchy material. Some brands also offer plus size variants for larger sizes.

Bodystockings are designed to stretch with your body, providing a good fit across different body types. Check the size indication on the product, when in doubt, plus size is more comfortable than too tight.

A bodystocking is surprisingly versatile:

• With high-waisted bottoms, wear the bodystocking as a 'top' with high-waisted underwear over it
• With a garter belt, adds structure and a classic look
• With a body harness, for a bolder look, wear a harness over the bodystocking
• With a blazer or kimono, for a stylish, half-covered loungewear look
